Tegan & Sara @ The South Street Seaport, NYC July 26, 2001
Tegan & Sara played a free show at the seaport on an overcast but pleasant Thursday evening. There were two opening bands but they sucked so badly they are hardly worth a mention. I had never seen Tegan & Sara before except on the Letterman TV show the night before, but I had been listening to them for awhile thanks to some rad girls who had me make T&S buttons for them. They were just amazing live, and so funny. They told little stories, you can see in the pictures where they are gesticulating. They said that a new album won't be coming for awhile though...
I took alot of pictures, here are most of them. Yes there's alot more Tegan than Sara, I wasn't in the best spot to take pictures of Sara and I couldn't move about because I was also recording the show on minidisc (it came out quite well). I don't know why they were so far apart on stage, oh well. Also, Tegan is *dreamy*.

...photos taken with a Nikon CP950 in nigh-'manual' mode, mainly with the TE2 Teleconverter, no flash. I'm pretty happy with these photos because it was an outdoor show. These are straight images except for being sized down from the original 1600x1200 size.
