It's important to never take things at face value, especially when you consider the media. Think about how Bill O'Reilly (gak) would describe something. Now, think about how Rachel Maddow (yay!) would talk about the very same story. Completely different viewpoints, both worthy of critical analysis, no matter how much you might tend to agree with one or the other (hopefully Maddow though!) The same is true with anyone - remember that they only ever tell you their version of a story, the truth as they see it.
